Boswell Volunteer Fire Department

   The Boswell Volunteer Fire Department is located in Somerset County, PA. We cover between 25-35 square miles of rural area with about 3000 to 4000 people living in Boswell Borough, Jenner Township and part of Quemahoning Township. The Boswell Volunteer Fire Department Provides Fire Suppression, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services to our 1st Due and surrounding areas 24 Hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

New Engine Arrives at Station

It is the Boswell Volunteer Fire Deptartments 100th Anniversary this year. We will aslo be hosting the 2008 Somerset County Firemans Convention in Conjunction with a 100th Anniversary Celebration. Stay posted to the website for more information on this event. List of Dates and Events.

New 2008 Type III GMC AEV Ambulance was ordered to replace the 1997 GMC Type I Ambulance. Should see the new Ambulance in August. 

2008 Fire Department FUND DRIVE letters have been sent out!!!  Please support our ongoing efforts!!
